Outside of the classroom, I have taken up multiple leadership roles to promote undergraduate research and computing education.
- Current: Serve on Virginia Tech’s Alumni Advisory Board and lead weekly meetings at the Crowd Intelligence Lab that include presentations and paper discussions, as well as providing advice on publishing and attending conferences.
- 2020: Served as the Student Volunteer Co-Chair for ACM CSCW 2020, the first ever 24/7 virtual CSCW conference, where I co-managed over 80 student volunteers from 20 countries and 12 time zones.
- 2018-2019: Student volunteer at ACM CHI and CSCW conferences.
- 2015-2016: Served as the Treasurer for my undergraduate institution’s ACM Student Chapter. I served as a co-lead for one of South India’s largest hackathons, inGenius, sponsored by ACM India.
